İzmir University of Economics built the OASIS app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by İzmir University of Economics at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at OASIS unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

1. Parties
a)  Management Information Systems Directorate, Izmir University of Economics located in Izmir - in charge of carrying out the activities of http://oasis.izmirekonomi.edu.tr internet site (hereinafter referred as MISD),
a)Student Information System- Organizational & Administrative Student Information System (hereinafter referred as OASIS)
b) OASIS internet site users (“student”, “instructor”) (hereinafter referred as Member)
2. Subject
The subject of this Agreement is to determine the user rights of OASIS users, internet site owned by MISD.
3. Rights and Responsibilities
3.1. The Member declares and undertakes that all the personal information and other miscellaneous information provided when registering to OASIS internet site is legally correct, and that the Member shall immediately compensate for all the damages suffered by OASIS due to misstatement of information provided.
3.2. The Member shall not share their OASIS password with other persons or institutions; the right to use the aforementioned password belongs to the Member only. OASIS reserves the right to claim all compensation and miscellaneous demands against any allegations made by third parties or competent authorities arising from abusing this right.
3.3. The Member declares and undertakes to abide by legislative provisions and not to violate them up front when using OASIS internet site. Otherwise, the Member shall be exclusively and entirely responsible for all legal and penal obligations arising. 3.4. The Member accepts and declares that the information at OASIS and course videos within Digital Education Support are recorded at Learning Management System.
3.5. All kinds of fees, data, pictures, explanations, and news on OASIS, shortly referred as “information” is for promotion and informative purposes only. The Member, in no way, shall claim that the “information” provided there is incorrect or misleading, or he/she suffered damages due to the information provided there. The Member acknowledges that he/she shall be responsible for demanding definite and trusted information, document when engaging in a transaction by taking the information provided on OASIS as a reference, and that Izmir University of Economics shall not be liable for any disputes arising from un-updated information published on the website.
3.6.  The Member, under no circumstances, shall use OASIS internet site in a way to disrupt public order, engage in immoral or illegal act, and infringe intellectual property rights and copyrights, nor shall he/she engage in transactions (spam, virus, Trojan horse, etc.) that prevent and aggravate others from using the services.
3.7. OASIS internet site software and design is owned by MISD, and copyrights and/or other intellectual property rights are being protected by respective legislation, which shall not be used, acquired, or changed by the Member without permission. Other companies and products mentioned in this website are trademarks of their owners and are being protected within intellectual property rights.
3.8. MISD reserves the right to change the content of the site, change or terminate any of the services provided to the users, or delete user information and data registered in OASIS website whenever it pleases.
3.9. MISD reserves the right to change, update, or cancel the terms of membership agreement without prior notice and/or notification under no circumstances. All members shall conceive any provision changed, updated or abolished, as provision at the time of its publication. 
3.10. Parties accept and declare that all computer records regarding OASIS as the sole and real exclusive evidence, that they shall be based on pursuant to Article 287of Code of Civil Procedure, and that the fact that aforementioned records constitute evidential contract. 3.11. Messages of students who graduated shall be deleted at the end of 2 months. Otherwise, the Member shall assume all responsibilities
3.12. In some cases, information not specific to Member can be collected. Such information can be listed as the type of browser, operating system, domain name of a site with which you accessed our site via link or ads.  
3.13. The Member promises not to share, copy, use course materials in Learning Management System other than education purposes, and offend against the respective legislation.
3.14. When you visit the application, information could be installed in your computer. This information will be in the format of bookmark ("cookie") or in a similar folder, and it would help us in several ways. For example, cookies would allow us to arrange application and ads based on your areas of interest and preferences. Almost all browsers offer options to receive warnings to delete cookies from your hard disk, prevent them from being written, or being recorded. For further information on this subject, please refer to your browser’s help files and manuals.
3.15. Members’ credit card information is not stored by any means. The Member makes a payment via bank Payment System.  
4. Settlement of Disputes
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be settled by Izmir Courts or Debt Enforcement offices.
5. Entering Into Force
Membership registration means the Member has read and agreed with all the provisions in the membership agreement.  This Agreement has entered into force mutually when the Member completed membership procedures.
